This is a web platform for the student-run 3D printing service at McGill University. Soft launched in November 2015, we're based in the McConnell Engineering Building, and provide various services. To date, we've fulfilled 111 orders and manufactured 187 parts.

End of Summer Hours
July 26, 2017

This Friday, July 28, the Cube will officially close for the remainder of the summer. We will be back for all your project and consultation needs starting Monday, September 4! Ongoing projects and urgent orders (for summer research projects, etc) will still be processed, please submit your order as usual with the reason for its urgency in the comments section. Reminder that we cannot guarantee completion of an order in less than one week.

UPDATED Summer Print Pick-ups

For the remainder of summer operations, prints will be available for pick-up at Copi-EUS on Wednesdays 3:30-5:00 and Fridays 1:00-2:30! For accommodation in extenuating circumstances, please contact aml.mecheng@mcgill.ca to inquire about am alternate pick-up time.

New machine - FormLabs Form2
Nov. 15, 2016

We at the Cube are pleased to announce the addition of our first SLA printer - the FormLabs Form2! This machine offers stunning resolution, and is best suited for high-precision printing jobs. Check out the design guide in our FAQ section, and happy printing!

New machine - Ultimaker Extended 2+

As part of our summer renovations we've added a new printer, the Ultimaker Extended 2+! This versatile machine can print in several different materials, including ABS, nylon, and semi-flexible TPU 95A! Check it out on our printers page.

IEEE McNaughton Center joins The Cube

The IEEE McNaughton Center, located in MC543, has recently joined The Cube as a campus-based 3D printing hub! Check them out on our Orders page.
